Client Lease Time

    If I set the Client Lease Time to 0, should that be infinite?

    I set it to 0 and the status page, still has that bogus number of hours (a ticket was already created for that), and the hour in which the original lease was made.

    If I'm using a VOIP TA, I don't want the downtime for the release/renew. Is there any harm in having an infinite lease?

    If you want an infinite lease, then associate the MAC address of your VOIP box in Administration->Services->dhcpd with the desired IP address. Then you will get a DHCP lease that expires in 2038.

    Alternatively, give your VOIP TA a static IP address and forget dhcp.
