    Some client mode help:
4 wrt54g's : can I use 1 as AP with the other 3 as clients?
    Alchemy final.

Will windows file sharing work over this connection?

Yes, but the router configuration depends on your network topology.
Where does your WAN connection come in? Where are the PC-s connected to your network?

    client info

right now, net connection comes in on WAN port of router set to AP. Soon may find it nessecary to move net conn to standard port (I'm putting in a smothwall firewall, a linux box) because I don't want to be "double nat'ed" so the vpn server will operate on the AP router.
Or if my firewall local side ip is, and I set my routers internet side (which actually faces the safe side of tthe direwall) to, can I still use the wan poort without worryingg about the double nat? My entire lan uses as the ip range.
Pcs are connected to all routers wired. Likley no other wireless acccess so I dont really need WDS. And what kind of speed is likley?
