Client mode problem

Hi, I am using WRT54G v2 with EWRT 0.2 acting in client mode (bridge). I am able to successfully connect to a Netgear WG602 access point in this mode using WEP 128 bit, however any time I try and download anything of some volume on the PC that has been placed on the WRT54G's switch port 1 the connection seems to stall. Web browsing of sites with just text and small graphics seem to work fine. Anything with lots of big jpegs fail/stall. I am perplexed at what might be causing this problem.

    Any help appreciated.

PS I have tested the same PC on the other side of wireles link by plugging it into the switch that feeds the WG602 and it performs flawlessly.

Additionally this configuration works fine with the WRT54G replaced with a loaned netgear WGE101 wireless bridge. Is there something wrong with the bridging in EWRT 0.2?

Well after reading these forums further, I flashed the WRT54G v2 with Satori-4.0 v2.07.1.7sv, keeping the same config with the exception of disabling "loopback" on the Administration Management page.

Guess what? It now works perfectly!! Can EWRT please have this "loopback" disable function in the next release to make bridging work?
