    I am running a GSv4 as a (dsl)gateway, and a Gv2 as WDS device. I am using WPA/TKIP and not broadcasting.

When my MAC G4 sleeps and wakes up it will not reconnect and when I attempt to manually reconnect, it returns an error saying the device does not support selected encryption. if I broadcst there is know problem.

I do not have any problem if I use wep.

It`s a problem of your WLAN card driver. Sounds like Asus or Dlink.

I have the latest updates for the MAC... this problem only occurs when using WPA an the router is not broadcasting

why would you not broadcast the SSID? that offers very little security other than a false warm-fuzzy feeling. even windows computers tend to not like to connecting to APs that don't broadcast their SSID.
