I'm trying to compile original tomato from sources. I did everything what is described in README, but tomato doesn't compile. After commiting make in /release/src, the compiler starts but after a minute it asks me about kernel config. Even if I answer all of these questions, which takes hours, it loops and asks again. What is the problem ?

Are you using a 64bit Linux? .. Ubuntu 9.10 might be?

Some progress here, I donwloaded tomato sources from this site http://repo.or.cz/w/tomato.git?a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/tomato

It let me pass all of these questions and it compiles, but it stops at "****No rule to make target `zImage'"
