I've searched everywhere and have found nothing to solve my problem. If I've missed something on this forum I apologize, just point me in the right direction.

Now, I have linksys WRT54G and everything has worked fine as long as hard hard wired to xbox and 1 computer. Have since moved computer and intalled wmp54 wireless card in computer. Signal is all good, everthing fine except computer tends to freeze every now and then (I can live w/that), but when viewing streaming media, or for that matter any media files being played will invariably lock up the computer. Just a note, I have used wmp 9 & 10, I have also used other media players just to check and they do the same thing.

I have installed all latest drivers for video, sound, chipset, router, etc. I have also disabled onboard ethernet. Sometimes media will freeze computer before beginning to play, other times after a few seconds or minutes, but will freeze requiring me to push power button as ctrl-alt-delete or anything else is unresponsive.

I have seen other posters in other forums having similiar problems, and read that there is a problem with via chipsets, but have seen no solutions. This is the only problem I have been unable to fix since building my computer a couple of years ago. No problems until the wireless card was installed.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
