    I'm purchasing 2 wrt54GL that I'll connect in the following way;
    Router #1 connects to ADSL modem, and then wirelessly to a laptop in house A
    Router #2 is placed in a nearby house B, and wants allow another laptop to connect to the internet through the adsl connection at router #1. I'd like to use encryption of some kind.
    I'm quite good at reading and following the guides that are floating around on the different wiki's etc, but the guides are labled differently, bridge mode, repeater mode, wds link mode etc. Which method do I go for?!
    Please set me on the right track!

    ADSL+wired+wireless--Router1 --wireless--Router2--wired+wireless
    but the far (Router2) link's wireless speed is halved.

    Client or Client Bridge:
    ADSL+wired+wireless--Router1 --wireless--Router2--wired

    Repeater mode etc. I don't know about.
    Search the forums - many posts about the pros and cons of the different link types.
