    Hello,

is it possible to connect my WRT54G with DDWRT wireless to an Netgear DG834GB? The Netgear is my Router/Modem with the DSL Connection und I want to connect my PC at the WRT54G. Is this possible? Before I had an WG54G and the WRT54G connected the WG54G with WDS but my WG is dead. So I got this Netgear Router but all the HowTos I could find use to WRT54G when I understand them correctly. Can someone please help me to get thos to connected?

    Thank you

I'm not sure about DDWRT but you can use Client Mode or Bridge Mode against a standard AP. I do this with Tomato against a Netgear.

As pablito mentioned, you can do so if you wire your PC to your WRT. None of the Netgear routers/modems support WDS, so no PC--wireless--WRT--wireless--DG834 possible. (Some of the Netgear APs support WDS.)

Just for info, Netgear brought out a 54g router last year, which they call something to the effect of "Linux router" (I forget the exact words). I suspect this router is a WRT in a Netgear case, but it hasn't got a modem built-in AFAIK.
