Connection keeps dropping

I flashed my WRT54G V6 with DD-WRT V23 SP2 this morning, and now find that my connection keeps regulary dropping.

I have the WRT54G set as an access point connected to a Netgear FVL 328. The DHCP is disabled on the WRT54G (enabled on the FVL 328) and the WRT54G has an IP address in the same range of the FVL 328...........

I boosted my xmit power to 65 (did have it at 100, but reduced it to see if this was causing the connection to drop).......... when I look at the status my wireless packet info says there are 386 errors, but I have no idea what these errors are or where to look at them.

I really have no idea what to check, as far as I know I have everything set up correctly. Can anyone point me to what setting I may have overlooked on the WRT54G? I need to use this as a wireless access point.

Also, does anyone know of a good tutorial to use to figure out what most of the settings are in the DD-WRT firmware?
