Connection problem

    Hi there,

    Im currently running xp through my linksys wag54g wireless router, not i was connected to the net hard wired untill recently when the ethernet light went out and the my local area network connection would get saying connected unconnected, connected and so on. i resolved this in connection setting by changing the link speed/duplex mode to 10 half mode (previously auto mode) this worked fine for about a month and now same problems.

    Im currently connected wireless but would prefer hard wired.

    Please help

    If your router is still under warranty (it's a 3 year warranty) then call Linksys technical support and arrange to return it to them under warranty. If you have a WAG54G v1.2 then it is a known problem so it should be easy to get them to accept the return. If its is a WAG54G v2 then you'll probably have to waste a couple of hours persuading them that you haven't misconfigured Internet Explorer and upgrading your firmware. Than don't hold your breath over the return: so far on our return it took them a week to respond and actually raise the RMA, UPS were supposed to then contact us within 3 working days which was a week ago.
