Hi, I'm currently running plain Tomato 1.28 on my Linksys WRT54G-RG router. I believe the WRT54G-RG is identical to the WRT54G-TM in terms of specs. The RG was for Rogers while the TM was for T-Mobile. Anyway, the WRT54G-RG has 8MB of Flash and 32MB of RAM and I'm just wondering what the correct version of the Shibby firmware I should be flashing.

    Thanks!

With 8 MB of flash you can put newer K26 firmware (Toastman or Shibby).

First upgrade to @bjlockie suggestion, see if everything's running fine, and after you can try a newer firmware from here (in case you want Shibby version):

Just make sure you are using the MIPSR1 ...and smaller than 8MB

Also the Broadcom BCM5352 CPU from my knowledge can be upgraded to 250 Mhz.

    ...if this is your CPU.

For your CPU i would go with Toastman version. Less pain, more stable.

Thanks guys. I went with tomato-K26-1.28.RT-MIPSR1-140-MiniVPN and everything is working great. The built in adblocker and bandwidth metering are terrific.
