Corrupted firmware with an Apple, how do I fix it?

Please help if you can. I have a WRT54G v2 wireless router that has corrupted firmware. It happened during a upgrade that went a rye. I don't want to just chuck it. Usually I am pretty handy when it comes to tech issues. Right not I am at a dead end. I have tried MacTFTP to reload the firmware and keep getting a error 65. There isn't any help from Linksys for fixing corrupted firmware using a Mac. I don't have any friends with a PC. Could someone help me with a remedy? Thanks very much.

Dunno nothing about MACtFTP, but the timing for getting firmware loaded via tftp is critical. I usually
    1) Make sure I have a fixed 192.168.1.x/24 address on my wired network card.
    2) make sure my WRT is set to defaults (192.168.1.1) by doing the 30sec reset button thing.
    3) make sure I have the right firmware for tftp.
    4) Try the tftp as soon as links starts blinking on the WRT.
    5) Retry at seconds earlier or later untill I get the timing right.
