I have upgraded firmware on my WRV200 router to official FW. After upgrade, everything seems OK, but after router reset I could not access setup page.

I can ping and, I can even login, but after I put in username (admin) and Pass (admin) web page is empty.

I try all kind of things, but I just could not connect to setup page. I tried another FW with TFTP utility, but it does not work, I do not have nForce chipset as is said in this, post, and I do not have any more Ideas.

Is it posible, that router is bricked? As I said , I could ping router , but I can not access setup page ..

    Thanks for help

You could try resetting the router to factory default using the reset button. Hold the button for 30 sec and then release it.

Does your PC have an NVidia chipset? I had trouble with some of the versions on the machine that has an NForce 3 chipset and had to disable Offload Cchecksum for it to work. The problem went away with 1.0.33 fw.

[edit] Sorry I missed that part about you not having an nforce chipset.

are you running any Antivirus package?

AV packages have been known to block the content of some webpages on the WRV200. if you can set the AV package to ignore the IP address of your router that should fix it, i hope. if not clear you web cache, and make sure the broswer will ignoreany proxy cache when using the routers IP address.

Thank you all for help, anyway , I have tried all the thing you mentioned ..

I tried on 2 different computers with IE7, IE6 and Firefox 2.0 , Offload Cchecksum helped me with my previous router BEFSX41 , but nothing help with this one..

I dont think that router was bricked, I upgraded many routers and I allways read the instructions and I newer had any problems.

So thats why i went back to the shop and replaced router , I got new one, did the FW upgrade on 1.0.33 and everything works fine now..

Im still not sure If this was the right choice. Seems that Wrv200 had a lot of issues.. but I hope tha with newer firmware router will be stable ..
