Creating a separate Guest Network with Tomato

    it has nothing to do with dual ssid. it merely splits the wifi network from the lan network and lets both access the internet, but not each other.
    i have been through that process, except that i have allowed communication between the two network parts, in order to get rid off multicast traffic flooding the wifi.

    Allright, that's why I wrote "This does not refer to DUAL-SSID though...".

    Where in the linked text did you read that? I have not tried but as far as I understand it ADDS a NEW vlan, maps a LAN port to it and that's all.

    Anyway, I have no need for that setup right now and just wanted to draw attention to that article in case someone else is interested.

    sorry, that was brain****ed-up ;)
    what i wrote that it does is what i actually did, which however is being done in almost the same way that the tutorial describes what it describes.
