Creating list of allowed sites?

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I couldn't find anything when searching. Rather than creating a list of sites to block when setting up "access restrictions", is it possible to create a whitelist that has a list of sites you want to allow access to?

I want to limit my kids to a handful of sites and not worry about the others. It seems like this would be a lot easier than trying to figure out how to enter everything you don't want them to have access to. Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    NG

As far as I know you can't setup a whitelist with the linksys default firmware, however you could add some creative firewall rules to block everything except for the select sites from a console if you install 3rd party firmware.

You could also look into child monitoring software for your PC.

I really am not to excited about loading software for this purpose. I thought it would be easier to say "these are the 5 sites to allow". I am running HyperWRT on my router. I haven't written any type of firewall scripts for it. Can you recommend where I might find more info on firewall scripts?

    Thanks,
    NG

This has been asked for in the feature request thread as well. Thibor mentioned he might be able to do something with it. So maybe in the next release?? Just an FYI. I concur this would be very useful.

Sorry been really busy, when I get around to it I will post how to do it manually until someone can make a pretty interface.
