Hi all, I have had a look around and as yet not found anything similar to what I would like to try and implement. I live in a shared house with 6 people and an ISP cap of 40gb combined up/down usage per month :frown:. Torrenting is the main use of bandwidth in the household and I manually use L7 to limit the amount torrenters can use per day (i just cap it at minimal bandwidth through QOS or allow no bandwidth at all) by checking now and then. What I would like to implement is a custom script that checks the usage every hour and when a defined amount has been used, it changes the QOS settings relating to torrents from lowest classification to E which will give no bandwidth. Lasting until midnight at which point it resets the classification of torrents to lowest. This will allow only a certain amount to be downloaded via p2p per day. If there is a better way of doing this, please let m know! As I don't know how to script, could anyone please provide me with a script or point me in the direction of a tutorial etc. Thanks!
