Hey there all. I've been looking at the hardware on my WRT54GS v2.1 and trying to collect information. However I've run into a brickwall trying to find datasheets for Broadcom chips. They have the stupid and mostly useless 'product brief' sheets which don't give the really useful information like pinouts etc. In fact they just make you more curious. For example the block diagram for the BCM4712 shows USB! Not onboard USB mind you, but obviously it's made to connect to it. I know there's a lot of talented HW hackers out there and I think this could be helpful to everyone to have a ready, organized source of reference material. Anyway, if anyone has any datasheets or similarly useful info, post them or a link here: Please put the copy, paste and following into your post and fill in the blanks: (I'll fill in some made up info to give you an idea) chip(set) name and or model number: BCM4712LKFB manufacturer: Broadcom description: Airforce integrated wireless access point product(s) used in: WRT54GS V2.1 type of info: Product brief (datasheet, design example, howto, etc) attached: no location: http://www.datasheet4u.com/html/B/C/M/BCM4712_Broadcom.pdf.html Sheets I want: Broadcom BCM4712 - datasheet, reference design schematics I hope this makes sense and is useful to some people. I _really_ want to see a datasheet for the above chipset.
