    hi, maybe a stupid question , but is it possible to run a ftp server on the router or a dchub ? Or other servers ?

    Use the SMB share + WinSCP.

    Er, why not just run an FTP server on your PC?

    I'm confused....

    There is always the SD card that can be used for storage for files.

    I believe I have seen 2GB cards, thoose hold a few files (if it isnt movies).

    I´m also missing a ftpd on my wrt, but for local access only!

    On my "d-box2" ,a digital sat.receiver, linux ist running too and it´s quite easy to change a file or modify something on it, using ftp.

    Use scp - it is available in the DD_WRT shell

    ok...But is it possible to run a dchub on the router? , i saw that u can host a website with it but i dont remember the page

    You cannnot expect a device with a processor and a memory of such capacity to run a DC hub daemon! It will kill wireless performance let alone a big and nice routing table!
