Does the DD-WRT support bridging to a client without having to assign the client a different subnet address (often refered to as layer 2 bridging)?

Does anyone know if this is possible without buying two routers supporting WDS or using expensive dedicated bridges? Trying to set up LAN gaming to the opposite side of the street :)

I have a WRT54GS v1.1 router and a basic feature set Netgear WGR614 v1 router which I use as my Internet gateway.
