Last night I got client bridged mode working on my WRT54GS v4 and am now having problems with my other wireless clients. It seems that some of the wireless clients are seeing the bridge as an access point as well. I know they're seeing the bridge as an AP because when I set 1 notebook with a mandatory AP(the main router), I was able to access the internet again. Now it's not really a problem for the notebooks here since I can give them mandatory AP MAC's, but, the tivo here doesn't have that option. My question is: is this the intended behavior of client-bridged mode? Or is there a way to make the router appear not to be an AP?

in client bridge mode the router shouldnt be seen as ap. its a normal client with a different network setup behind the wireless unit
