DDNS setup with AirDNS?

I am using the latest Shibby firmware for my router. (1.28.0000 MIPSR2-120 K26 USB Big-VPN)

Via my AirVPN account, I created a DDNS address attached to a port number. (Example: <name>.airdns.org attached to <port number>)

I am trying to setup that address in Tomato, but I am not sure the details of what the address should be. I have tried https:// and https://<name>.airdns.org:<port number>, but it does not resolve the URL.

Does anyone have any experience using AirDNS and does Tomato even support it?

    according to their site

so probably as soon as you use the AirVPN service, your DDNS is also updated.

I would assume so remlei, but I want to figure out a way to add the AirVPN DNS address to my Tomato DDNS configuration in order to attempt to wake up a computer on my home network using magic packets.

Not sure if would have to set that up via the DDNS section of Tomato or possibly the port forwarding section.

it should work without tomato's builtin ddns work, since airvpn does do that.

so the only thing you need to do is port forward those ports you setup on your airvpn account's ddns feature, but im not really sure if port forwarding in tomato works over openvpn. I did stumble some threads here talking about port forwarding over openvpn (assuming you were using OpenVPN client feature on Tomato) since port forwarding page somehow only works on WAN port of the router.
