I have a linksys befsr11 that I'm setting up for a small office. I can't see the place to enter the DDNS settings anywhere. Firmware is 1.46. I have it doing all the PPoE with the dsl modem (speedstream 4100) in bridge mode. Internet connection is fine. I can connect to the router's external IP only if I'm there and running the ddns client on my laptop. Once I can get ddns enabled on the router I'll troubleshoot other issues. Have DDNS running on a netgear at home and it works like a charm.

Unfortunately, Linksys BEFSR11 routers do not support DDNS. I have the same router with the same firmware and let me tell you something: This router works the best!!! The new routers (WRT54GXv2 or WRT54GX2) can not connect using any VPN client nor do their DDNS features work either.
My advise: Never touch a running system! Keep your BEFSR11 and use the S/W client for dyndns.org
