DDr-WRT with WPA2 ?

    Probably not before Linksys releases the source code for the V4 firmware.

    So DD-WRT doesn't support WPA-AES right now even with Talisman???

    yes dd-wrt deos support it it has a option in the web interface

    This post is about WPA2, not the standard WPA that most people are referring to when they say WPA. DD-WRT definitely supports WPA just fine. I can't imagine WPA2 will take too long once the source from the official Linksys firmware is released. Even if it is, it's really not important AFAIK. WPA is really, really hard to crack or so I've heard (if it's even crackable...but I'm sure it is somehow).

    I think WPA & WPA2 are the same (at least in the linksys firmware).

    WPA = TKIP
    WPA2 = TKIP + AES

    It's possible they had to change some small parameters to get it WPA2 certified.

    i think you are wrong Avenger20 becuase then wpa2 would be in dd-wrt pre 5
