DDWRT on WRT54G v3?

I am having disconnect issues on a WRT54G v3 using sveasoft's talisman. I would like to go to DDWRT to manage this but I have a few questions:

Will DDWRT go onto a WRT54G v3 and if so, what release?

Can a DDWRT WDS router speak to Talisman WDS repeaters or do the repeaters need to be DDWRT as well (the repeaters are working currently, its the Gateway WDS unit that requires frequent reboots)?

    Thank you

First, comparing sveasoft and DD-WRT is like comparing apples and rat droppings (I can say that - I ahve already been banned  )

No problem at all using on a V3 - I have it here running. Read the Wiki at www.dd-wrt.com if you have any questions running dd-wrt.

Your re-boot problems will be but a bad memory

Thanks for the reply. I decided to go ahead and put DDWRT on all units. The flash process was seamless x 3 and the WDS seems to be working like a charm.
Can anyone confirm or deny the functions of WDS watchdog and scheduled reboots on DDWRT v23 as working or not?

    Thanks to all

I have never had need to use the watchdog but I assume it re-boots the node...
