I've got a WRT600N which is connected to an old Efficient Network DSL Modem Router providing internet access. I'd like to use the WRT600N as a DHCP server, but I still need the Efficient to act as the gateway. I can't see how I can change the settings for the gateway, since the WRT600N seems to assume itself that is always going to be the gateway. Is there any way to have the DHCP server broadcast a different ip address as the gateway? Another idea to solve my problem would be to establish a static route between the Linksys and the Efficient having the former routing all the traffic but the LAN bound to the Efficient, but I don't know how to do that with the web interface. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am having the same problem as you. See:

Evidently, the router assumes that there is nothing between it and the internet. I still have not resolved my problem nor have I seen anyone offer any solutions.
