    I am using a wrt54gs v 1.0 with Satori-4.0 v2.07.1.7sv firmware.
I am using this appliance with several laptops in a mobile training cart configuration. (10 laptops, a printer, and a bridge (wet54g). I plug the WRT54G into a switch and want the scope assigned to the switch from our central dhcp server to be passed trough to the laptops, printers and bridge. My more advanced router have a dhcp client relay on them to do this. Is there a version of the Santori code that does have this or will have this option available to it.

I can make the dhcp work on the wireless devices by plugging the cat5 from the switch into a lan port, but then I can not manage the box as it has a static ip on the lan side, and I do not know how to make it get a dhcp from the central server.
If i plug the cable into the WAN side I do not get and ip addresses on the wireless devices

Thanks in advance for any help

I'm pretty sure that there is no dhcp relay agent included in Satori. It has been announced for Talisman 1.1.
But there are some OpenWRT packages with dhcp relay clients like dhcp-forwarder
    http://tracker.openwrt.org/packages/
    http://tracker.openwrt.org/packages/list.php?name=dhcp-forwarder
    http://tracker.openwrt.org/packages/list.php?name=dhcp-fwd

Many OpenWRT Packages can also be installed and successfully used on other firmware flavours. The .ipk packages are just .tgz files. You can extract the binaries and other needed files included and try to get them running on Satori.

    dhcp forwarder info

thanks for the dhcp forwarder info.
I will try this. I am not very strong in the linux world, but will give it a go.
    Thanks again
