Trying to maintain a 24/7 VPN tunnel using RVS4000 router on cable modem connection. The cable ISP offers a 7 day lease to the router but other than hitting the 'renew lease' button every couple of days, how do I set the lease period on the router so it renews prior to the lease running out. As it stands now the router loses it's lease every week and we have to get someone to restart it.

Hello, is there no way that the cable modem can be set into a bridge then you do PPoe on the Router? when having the setup this way you can then provide a "time-out" redial period on the router.
