I've recently flashed my WRT54GS v2 router with v2.1b1 of HyperWRT.

I'm wondering if it is possible to associate a dhcpd-assigned IP address to a given MAC address? I have a service on my laptop that I'd like accessable but still want the convenience of DHCP when I am mobile (without reconfiguring). I know how to do this in linux so would the procedure be the same for HyperWRT? Could I go in through telnet, (hopefully) vi the dhcpd.conf file and things would just work?

One of those feature which has been requested more then ANY other but the developer has no use therefor no need to waste time! I'd say this is only reason I still use DD-WRT
