I have a linksys wireless router (WRT350N) and am looking at adding a NAS device and Media Streamer. I like the Linksys NAS200, but I don't know if not having a gigabit switch is going to be an issue. So, I'm looking at using a DLink NAS device. Also, I am looking at using a Netgear media streamer.

Am I asking for trouble? The best I could do would be get the Linksys NAS, but for video (especially since my router already has a gigabit switch) I feel that the gigabit switch on the DLink makes it the better buy.

    Thanks

I think that would really depend on how much data you are moving at any one time. I have not personally found a need for gigabit at this point, but i dont stream anything and if i move alot of data i just set it to run overnight. But i know others will have a different view.
