Different QoS by time of day, is it possible?

I want to give P2P outbound traffic low priority from 8am to midnight, but unrestricted from midnight to 8am.

Is there any way I can have 2 different QoS profiles and automatically switch between them depending on time of day? Or, could I automatically disable QoS at midnight, and enable it at 8am?

The P2P application is Kontiki, installed as part of the BBC iPlayer open beta. It seems a very poor choice from the user's point of view, as there are no user controls. Of course, it does require port 1947 (and 1948 I think) to be open in order for content to be delivered outbound. So perhaps another approach (rather more drastic and rather less public spirited) would be to open ports 1947 and 1948 at midnight, and turn them off at 8am. Could this be done by a script?

    Suggestions appreciated.
