My logging has been putting out a lot of detail lately. I know this happened after I ran a script in tools>system commands section a while ago, but now I don't know how to undo it. How can I turn the detail level down a knotch? I am running shibby on E4200 router. See below for a sample :

This is consistent with the "log-queries" option being set for dnsmasq. First thing would be to confirm that option is not set in the custom config box of the routers GUI under Advanced->DHCP/dns.. it shouldn't be if it was caused by a script but cover the base anyway. Next would be log into the router via SSH/telnet and run " cat /etc/dnsmasq.conf | grep log " and see if the log-queries option is found. If so, manually edit the file and remove the log-queries line. After saving the change, run the command " service dnsmasq restart "... logging should be reduced. An alternative would be rebooting the router, as long as the script you mentioned is not setup in a fashion to be re-run on boot.

Thanks, it worked ! As you guessed, it was set in Advanced->DHCP/DNS.
