Just look for the running process (ps -ef). It should be running as dropbear. Then kill the pid. THat takes care of it temporarily. Why not just disable it through the GUI?

Cause I disable it thru the GUI but the port stay close not stealth... So is visible to the public thru a port scann. even worst when enable the port is wide open. They should be a rule where you can enbale it in the LAN or WAN or BOTH.

Any ideas? Why does SSH shows open from the wan side?

Did you scan your WAN interface from the inside or the outside of your LAN? I just checked on my home router from work, and my SSH port is stealthed (a telnet attempt failed after the connection timeout expired like any stealthed port would - an active connection reject would have immediately failed)

It sounds to me like you're scanning from the inside, in which case the loopback will disrupt your scan results.

Sorry but I know better ;) I scann from the WAN side I can post results and screenshoots if need it to pin point the source of these issue.
