    Hi Everybody!

I have a local network with about twenty compuers (PC's, Mac's, Linux's) accessing the internet through a Linksys WRT54GL router. Sometimes eMule runs on one or two computers generating heavy traffic and eats up the whole bandwidth.
So, how to disable or at least restrict eMule to access internet?

You may want to try loading HyperWRT Thibor 13d on that router. One of the newest features Thibor has implemented is P2P blocking. I haven't tried it myself (I run a different firmware and besides, I DO use BitTorrent on my home network).

The other thing you can do is implement QoS (Quality of Service) which will prioritize traffic on your network, if you want to allow BitTorrent but minimize its effect on other users. Here are a couple of QoS guides I typed up that may be helpful.
