DMZ Hardware port setup/configuration on RV082

My attempts to setup the dmz hardware port on my rv082 units fails. I guess I'm doing some stupid mistake and needs some information on what needs to be configured.

We're behind a cisco 805 router and are behind a firewall service provided by our isp. The ip of the cisco 805 is 192.168.103.253. We are using the 192.168.103 subnet for our internal lan. Our isp has now added a forward of a public external ip to host 192.168.103.252.

Our idea is to put the rv082 on our internal lan configured with wan address 192.168.103.252 and expose a public server on the rv082's dmz port. I have tried many settings but cannot even ping our gateway e.g. 192.168.103.253!

    The device is configured as:
    Device ip address: 192.168.1.1
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

The wan settings are as follows:
    WAN IP: 192.168.103.252
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Defult GW: 192.168.103.253
    Dns: 192.168.5.240

If I connect a host to any of the eight lan ports everything works as expected both using dhcp or given a static ip in the 192.168.1.x subnet.

What entries shall be entered in the dmz subnet settings. Should one another private subnet like 192.168.2.x and do one-to-one nat to public ip to correct host or should one enter the external ip my isp has provided?

How shall the host/server on the dmz port be configured. What ip, gateway and naming server shall be configured.

I hope someone can guide me since this is driving me nuts...

    \Magnus
