A small side effect of using dnsCrypt is that there is no rule in QOS classification to get it out of the crawl class by default. I created simple rule to allow TCP/UDP Src IP to come in as a service class. That is how it is setup on another WRT54GS but it is running Shibby 107 and it is classified properly in the details page.

    Anyone else experiencing this issue?

It seems to me that that thread is more related to the noise in the log file versus the DNSCrypt packets getting incorrectly classified. Yes I do see the post about putting the rule of the openDNS servers to classify the packets, which is what I thought I did based on my first post. The issue I am seeing is that despite having the dnscrypt-proxy box checked, the intercept UDP Port 53 checked, and the QOS rule in place, my DNS queries are still classified as crawl.

In general, my question is anyone else experiencing a similar behavior even though the pieces are in place? Could this be a bug in Shibby 109?
