DNSSEC slowing down network?

So, Comcast recently had a whole big announcement that their DNS servers have finally been migrated to full DNSSEC compliance.

I decided to start using them, and Tomato on my lowly 54G v4 seems a bit slower at serving pages, whether on the web interface, or serving a page to a computer on the network.

Is there a way to speed it up? Or just switch back over to normal DNS servers?

EDIT: Er, nevermind, they weren't set statically, now it's back up to the speed it was before I switched over. :)
