Can you tell me if the WAG54G wireless routers support WDS so I can use it to connect to a WRT54G that I have?

Only WAG54G 1.x, with 1.02.7 firmware at least, is supporting WDS !

So I wouldn't be able to use a WAG54G v2 and a WRT54G v2.2 in combination to do WDS? Are there any unofficial firmware's for the WAG router is it only the Linksys ones that are available?

    No way with a WAG54G v2 !
The only solution is to set the WRT 54G in "client bridge" mode to catch the wireless signal but the WRT is no more an AP, therefore that requires wired PCs...

Thanks for the reply. I think that would be ok if I use cables for the pcs. I hope the following shows well enough what I would like to do.

ADSL Line->Router->Broadcast Wireless Signal (WAG54G)->Receive Wireless Signal (WRT54G)->4 x Wired Connections to this.

From what you are saying this should be possible, right? Sorry if it seems like im asking the same thing, its just that I dont have much knowledge about networking in this way. If it is possible how would I go about it? Are there any tutorials that I could follow?

    Many thanks in advance

That's very easy to do with the DD-WRT firmware !

Here (DD-WRT menu) you only have to set "Client Bridged" plus same SSID and same channel.
On each PC set the Gateway and main DNS to the WAG IP address.

Try first without encryption and set it when everything is good.

(I did it with my WAG/WRT with WPA encryption and that worked fine)
