does anyone know the startup script for p2p, is it the same startup script used in Tofu 11.
How would I enter it into ddwrt, I read the post in wiki on how to do it, but it was really confusing.
So can someone help me out here.

there must be like 5000 postings/faq covering this. Anyway put this in your FIREWALL startup-thing. (Settings/administration/diagnostics/comand shell parameters/RUN/save FIREWALL

For some reason with "save startup" it doesnt work.

    echo 172800 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_tcp_timeout_established
    echo 2048 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses

    echo "600 1800 120 60 120 120 10 60 30 120" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_tcp_timeouts

    thats what i use.

    explanation:

line 1: set tcp timeout 2 days
line 2: set max number of connrack to 2048 - i really see 4096 or even higher as not right for a router with only 16MB ram
line 3/4: ignore pings and other garbage
    line 5: standard tweaks

thanks, cause I keep pressing save startup script, it doesn't seem to work.
the one on wiki says to use the SSH thing, it was very confusing.

when I enter the script into the command box, when I press cmd the script disappears, is it suppose to do that?

you're not supposed to press "CMD" since "CMD" runs only the command as a command :) ...you have to save it as "save firewall" (respective save startup)

is the script suppose to dissappear after I press save?

asianangel28, read r0ut3r's post. You don't need a script anymore as far as I know (in DD-WRT at least).

    yes...this is not very elegant.

Anyhway you can check whether it saved to the startup (or firewall) by telnetting to your router and type:

    nvram get rc_startup

    or

    nvram get rc_firewall

then it shows you the current saved file.

    how do I telnet?

You don't need to telnet in Tofu. Just go to "administration", then lick the "run command" button and you'll get a command line.
