I know Linksys says not to use the WSB24 with the WRT54G due to FCC regulations but I am only using the B mode so its ok.

My WSB24 is not working (no signal boosting at all)

So my question is.. Does it matter what firmware version I use on the WRT54G to make it work with the WSB24? Will the latest firmware (3.03.6) work with the WRT54G? Its supposed to not even matter what firmware I use right? I just want to make sure that it is not a firmware problem. I am thinking that my WSB24 is just plain broken. Am I correct in assuming this since you just connect the cables on the WSB24, no setup.
