Does the WRT54G v2.0 support WPA2?

Can anyone confirm that the WRT54G v2.0 specifically supports WPA2 and, if so, what firmware revision has it? Also, has anyone actually gotten a WRT54G v2.0 to enable SpeedBooster using the latest Sveasoft firmware? Supposedly it turns on but I didn't see any difference in speed. Thanks.

Yes WPA2 is supported with some firmware versions, but I don't know the exact firmware version, where Linksys started suppoirtng WPA2.
I think the next Talisman version and the next DD-WRT will also support WPA2. ( http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6659 )

Maybe it's activated, but you just didn't notice the difference.
    :D
According to Linksys the speed gain is *at most* 35%. Ususally, under real world conditions it's only 10%-20%, depending on the quality of the signal. And especially, if the signal and speed are fluctuating, most people won't notice a speed gain of 10%.

To enable speedbooster on a WRT54Gv2. You have to make certain that you have the additional memory and if you do not and issue the commands to try to access the memory you will brick your router. I did that to my WRT54Gv2.0. I try all the debricking instructions and none of them worked. I think Toxic or someone else who is regular contributor to this website issue the warning. I would not try it again 35% in speed increase is not worth the price of a new router. If you want speedbooster buy a speedbooster router. Better yet, If you have the money, but the WRT54GX and get a WPC54GX, or wait until the WMP54GX becomes available. Check the memory before trying it.
