Dropped Internet

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by mistabroadway, May 21, 2005.

  1. I have a D-Link DWL-520 Adapter, which is B, and its connected to a WRT54G Router, which is G.

My connection is at "very good" 4 out of 5 bars. My problem is that my internet seems to either be really slow at times or just flat out hang up. The connection to the router is not changing. I also have another computer that is connected directly to the router with Cat5 and it works fine. The only problem is the wireless connection. I've tried numerous things but nothing seems to work.

Okay, I have an update. It's not just my internet my whole network connection is getting dropped. Could it be a problem with different brands of Adapter/Router?
