    hello!

    i want to share my dsl with my neighbour. we have a limit of 4GB traffic ans so everybody gets 2GB.
    is it possible to log each persons traffic (ex. by mac address), so that it is possible to reconstruct the already used traffic by every user (ex. mac address)

    sorry for the bad english, i am german!

    my hardware: wrt54gs with sveasoft alchemy v1.0 --> connected with dsl
    neighbours hw: WRT54G or WAP54G with sveasoft FW --> using WDS

    thanks for detailed answers!

    traffic measurement with wrtBwLog

    Hi,
    I have set up a similar configuration last week:

    DSL -> Router / PPPOE -> Wrt54g1 (WDS) ~~~Wrt54g2 (WDS) -> my computers

    and I measuer traffic with WrtBwLog. This is a tool running on the Wrt54g1. The tool automatically starts, if the router gets booted and it also has some backup features. I got it from www.hetos.de. Would that help your needs?

    regards
    HM
