    Hello all,

    I have problem with two Linksys WRV200 gateway. I need VPN connection between 2 wrv200 gateways. Connection worked early when Remote Secure Gateway was ip address based numerical address. But now I have problem when both end use FQDN based DynDNS address. I have tried to put back early settings too, but now connection doesn't work still.

    I wish that you understand that I mean. (my english doesn't good :thumbdown: )

    What is the problem? Is reason DynDNS or any other?

    Are you using firmware 1.0.34, which has a fix for the problem you have?

    I have two WRV200 routers linked with IPSEC tunnel and both are using DynDNS. I can establish a connection that lasts for 3 to 4 days, then I have to power-cycle them to recover.

    Eventually, I bought two automatic power-cyclers that reset them every day early in the morning. Now, they work very well.

    Hi Baro,

    Just increase the time for dead-peer-detection and keep-alive, at least double it. Then the connection will be okay.

    Firmware version is 1.0.34 on both router. I will test to increase the time for dead-peer-detection now.

    Connection is ok now when I changed Dead Peer Detection parameters.

    Detection Delay(s): 30 -> 60
    Detection Timeout(s): 120 -> 240

    And then I connected power cables to automatic power-cyclers that reset routers every night at 3:00 o'clock.

    Thank's your answers !
