Hey everyone, got a quick question..

I have my E3000 setup with a WD book (usb hardrive) and have the shareing and everything set so all users can access it.

My question is with it formated to nfs which requires defraging sometimes, How would I go about defraging it? Is it possible somehow with it hooked to the E3000 or do I have to unhook it and plug straight into a pc to run disc defrag on it?

You will need to plug the hard drive into a PC to defrag.

unless you are constantly adding and remving files from the drive you shouldnt need to defrag - defrag is best for HD's with OS's running on them - I wouldnt bother with defragging a storage device

You will get much better performance using Ext3.
