I'm a newbie to DD-WRT/Linksys, but I've searched the forums and couldn't find a simple solution to my need.

What I am looking for is a quick and simple way to turn on/off the wireless radio/LAN. I am used to having an option in the Netgear router to just turn OFF the WLAN, but couldn't find any such thing with this firmware. HyperWRT has a function to turn it on/off with the SES switch. Is this possible with DD-WRT? Ideally I would like this to be done via the web interface. so I don't need to physically access it.

If this is already available and I've missed it, please point me in the right direction.

Go to Wireless -> Basic Settings -> Wireless Network Mode and select Disable.

the little startup script that is somewhere in the hyperwrt part of this forum should also work with dd-wrt, no reason it shouldn't. but u can also disable it though the web like primus said...

Thanks much :) That's exactly what I wanted. I'll check when I get home tonight, and I could swear I didn't see that option...
