    Possible Noob question:

Is there a way to edit or remove a line in the nvram, possible like vi, or do I have to just use the reset button to erase it and start over again. I would like to modify a port in my iptables entry and I'm not sure if there is an easy way to do this without erasing it and starting again. I see lots of command examples for adding lines for is there one for removing a line?

    it's quite simple really
all you need is "nvram unset blah" to remove a line, and then nvram commit to save the changes
