Electrical Storm Damage to LAN Ports

My BEFW11S4 went dark on 3 of 4 LAN ports during an intense lightning storm. Ever since I have been limping along with the one remaining good LAN port connected to a 4 port HUB.

Although I've been pricing a newer model (which lead me to the WRT54GS and this forum) I thought I should first ask the question:

Has anyone successfully recovered storm-damaged LAN ports on any model of Linksys router?

Basically, your router is now a bridge. There isn't much chance of getting the other 3 ports alive unless it was basic damage, and that's unlikely. Pop it open since I don't think lightning is covered by the warranty (Check anyway), and see if you can identify burnt or discolored parts. If not, there are 2 or 3 parts it could be.. 1 of them would be very annoying to replace, and the rest next to impossible without the right tools. Not to mention hard to order in a quantity of one.

    So in summary: Find yourself a shiny new WRT54G v4 or earlier, a WRT54GS v4 or earlier, a WRT54GL, or a WRTSL54GS. :)
Maybe someone you know can do something with a Cable/DSL bridge/firewall.
