Hi, I'm wanting to use an application called RouterStats (see here) to monitor downstream noise margin.
Although written originally for Netgear DG834, it can support other devices and has some support for telnet connection.
ADSL2MUE has SSH enabled but not Telnet.
Anyone know if it is possible to enable telnet?
    Thanks

OK, I upgraded to Routertech firmware and now have telnet.

Yes. You should use a mod firmware (telnet enable)

You can find info about mode fw here

I'm afraid but the thread it's in italian (you can recognize easily the link to download fw).

    Suggested firmware

    Firmware McMcc 1.1.00.RU (11.11.2007) DSP 7.04
    Firmware McMcc 2.04.RU.R102 (18.12.2007) DSP 7.04

    Update via web interface.

Are these rebuilds of the Acorp LAN120 / LAN122 firmwares? I never thought much of DSP 7.04, - 7.03 or 7.05 seem better YMMV
