Ok, in regards to my previous post, I've solved the problem (don't ask me how, even I don't know) but here's the deal.

When my encryption is disabled, both in my access point and the range expander, my internet connection is great and so is the wireless network.

When I enable the encryption (either WEP or WAP) my pc's can still detect the wireless network, but I lose internet access.

    Any ideas?

You can detect a signal but if you're not actually connected with a valid IP address you can't see the internet. Make sure your encryption settings exactly match on both sides.
