Well after 16 days up the router finally gave up and crash, i try everything before the imminent shutdown, but without luck; suddenly lots of functions starting to shutdown by themselves and the worst most parts of the conf were unable to set them up, even to enter inside them was not possible, the worst part of all was the SSH service that was completely off. The problem cause is not clear, and if anyone knows what does it mean i would really apreciated.

Note: I did nothing before this happend, ocurred suddenly and with no warning!

The partial log before the crash is this, and indeed was the cause of the problem for sure cause after the error was detected when i access to my log file (in some pc inside the LAN), rapidly the CPU Load start to increase to levels i never seen before (20, 12, 9) (30, 18, 12) and growing!. Actually when i tried to shutdown the router by http command it refused, and i had to unplug the cord manually.

Maybe the worst part was the fact that all the conf was gone when the router came back and i had to configure everything from the scratch :frown:

If anyone could help i would really apreciated, just to be sure this wont happend again in the future. Thanks in advance!

The firmware i run on my WRT54G v4 is the 1.23 RAF Thor Mod .7 v5

Before i forgot, im not saying this is a firmware error (from Thor's, Victek or any other developer guru), it might be error of mine, so i beg you all that works in this impressive project that do not offend by this tread. None of this would be possible without your wonderful work.

    Greetings thus all.

those are flash chip reading errors...
    try thease:
    1) reflash the firmware
    2)erase nvram thorough
3)remake all the settings (DO NOT RESTORE BACKUPS)
4)after you are done with all the settings make a backup so you dont have to reapeat making all the settings...

Thanks for the reply Thor :), i will do that, actually i made a backup often; but when you start to release new images to fast i suddenly stop doing it. Just a last question, do you know the probably cause to this to happend? Why do this reading errors ocurred?

    SDHC Crash

i found bug in button.c with SDHC/MMC Mod
when SDHC/MMC operate read / write, if you push ses button for wireless on/off or other command for second, it will crash kernel and sdhc turn into read-only.

    i'm using v1.23.8712 .5 RAF ND Thor MOD .6.
